    Mom was actually up by 1300 today. We spent a fair amount of time in her room, though, she sitting up on the edge of her bed, me on the floor, playing with the cats, talking and generally accomodating ourselves to the heat and mugginess of the day.
    Breakfast and lunch were normal, no changes. For dinner I served her a Marie Callender's Beef Pot Pie. She requested pot pies early in the day so I made a trip to the store during her nap to pick it up. My intention had been to serve a Cobb Salad (a modified version of which I prepared for myself) but Mom seemed to be in the mood for comfort food.
    Her Bowel Movement occurred at 1625: Excellent volume; a little smeary in consistency; very easy elimination; fairly easy clean-up.
    She retired at 0030, 7/14/06. Her light went out at 0100.
