Today's Stats:
Breakfast
I can always count on a good night's sleep to even out my mother's blood sugar. I hope this remains true for the rest of her life.
Lunch
Nothing special or unusual about lunch, today. Surprisingly good blood sugar reading.
Dinner
I'm not sure why her blood sugar jumped between lunch and dinner; it usually does this between breakfast and lunch. Oh well, it wasn't a dangerous jump.
Her high blood pressure was the fault of a minute argument my mother initiated while I was taking her blood pressure: She claimed that when I take her blood pressure while she is watching an episode of Deep Space 9 she can't concentrate on keeping her arm limp because she's involved in the episode and doesn't want to concentrate on anything else. I decided not to irritate her further by retaking her blood pressure, but I'll keep in mind, now, that I need to "stop" Deep Space 9 for the few moments when I take her blood pressure. If she's watching something on TV, I'll wait until commercial breaks.
