BM Today's Stats:

Blood Glucose:
    Time:  1314
    Reading:  114
Blood Pressure:
    Not taken

Mom arose, on her own, at noon, today. I decided to take her blood sugar just before she ate to see if the jam sandwich she ate yesterday had worked itself off. It appears to have almost done so.
Meds were administered as usual, no changes.
Breakfast was typical, two eggs instead of one, eaten around 1330. Lunch happened around 1730 after a nap: Yoghurt with wheat germ. She didn't want much and that was fine with me because I planned on serving dinner around 2000, and did. Dinner was Cobb Salad with a half a deviled egg, shredded Parmesan Cheese, chopped olives and the usual vegetables, dressing and chips-as croutons.
Her Bowel Movement occurred around 2210. Elimination was not easy but did not need to be provoked. Volume was typical for what she's been producing, lately, now that she's eliminating almost every day, although the consistency was small balls stuck together, thus a bit difficult for her to expel. I've noticed that the small ball fecal effect usually happens, with my mother, when she hasn't been drinking enough fluid and, true to experience, I've been badgering her the last few days about her refusal to drink enough liquid to bring her up to the 2000 - 2200 cc level. I used her difficulty eliminating as an object lesson, tonight, and, because of the ball effect, with confidence. She volunteered that she would not fight me on fluid intake tomorrow.
