Three Quarter and One Stat Day:

Blood Glucose:
    Time:  1421
    Reading:  119
A.M. Blood Pressure:
    Time:  1441
    BP:  151/72
    Pulse:  51

P.M. Blood Glucose:
    Time:  2144
    Reading:  233
P.M. Blood Pressure:
    Not taken
Bedtime Blood Glucose:
    Time:  0048, 10/15/06
    Reading:  150

Well, needless to say, although I roused her at 1400, for some reason it was hard to get her moving, but we made it.
Breakfast: Not quite normal: Included a very rich cranberry scone, one of a batch I decided to make instead of pumbpkin cranberry muffins.
    Lunch: Normal.
Dinner: Cobb salad with the usual suspects, roasted chicken as the meat.
It should be obvious why I decided to take her blood glucose again about an hour before she retired: The extraordinary reading taken at dinner, due, I'm sure, to the cranberry scone. Since it seemed to be going down quite nicely just under the influence of her dinner glipizide and the Cobb salad (which was hearty but full of vegetables and chicken), I figured she was fine without a third dose.
She retired at 0100, 10/15/06. Her light went out at 0130.
