    Not taken

Mom was in an excellent mood, today, which accounts for her high BP this morning. She couldn't stop chatting and moving while I was trying to take it, so I didn't bother to take it again.
    Breakfast: Normal.
Walkering: We tried it outside between breakfast and her nap but the wind was so strong she found it difficult to handle the walker. As well, although I'd thoroughly bobby-pinned her hat onto her head, she kept releasing one of the walker handles to hold her hat down. Finally, after walkering halfway down the driveway, she turned around and came back to the house, saying, "I don't think this is necessary." After an extremely short nap, we walkered in the house, our usual four laps. She did very well, complained of no knee "iffiness". Later in the evening, though, she wandered out to the dinette looking for something (I'm not sure what, this time), took a misstep at the steps and her knee caved a little. She assured me it was not bothering her, though, so I let her continue into the dinette, then back to here chair, without incident.
    Nap: 1700-1730.
    Lunch: Peanuts and coffee.
Dinner: Cobb salad with the usual suspects and ham, this time.
Her Bowel Movement occurred at 1545: Fairly good volume; good consistency; very easy elimination; slightly challenging clean-up.
She retired at 0015, 10/2/06. Her light went out at 0100.
