Today's Stats:
Breakfast
Well, nothing unusual, except how long it took to get Mom moving, this morning. Almost 2 hours from the time I called her (1130) to the time she was eating. Just a slow, slow morning for her. At 1000 I called her, told her I needed to make a trip to Costco today for paper underwear and did she want me to wait until she was up this afternoon. Nope...she wanted me to let her sleep and awaken her when I returned. So, I did.
Lunch
I know! Look at her blood glucose! Only 5 hours after eating breakfast! Good show! She did move a little, today, went out to get the mail with me spotting her. Took a short nap (less than an hour). And, as well, normally she eats her lunch about 4 hours after breakfast. But, I'm very pleased. Her BP still bothers me, a little, but I think that'll iron itself out, the more she moves, over the days ahead.
Dinner
Other than dinner being a bit closer to lunch than usual, dinner was normal, she had an excellent appetite, as has been usual for awhile, which allows me to consider that her slightly elevated systolic blood pressure (and her occasionally slightly elevated, for her, diastolic) aren't real problems that need to be handled with medication. I've noticed, the last few nights, that her feet are swelling the tiniest bit before bed, but tonight they looked better and she did move some, today, so I think that will be taken care of, soon. She was in very, very good spirits, tonight.
