Combined Partial & No Stat Days: 6/27 - 6/29/06
6/27/06: Half Stats
I think the reason I decided not to take stats tonight was because of the raspberry Danish Mom had for breakfast. I didn't want to know, and not taking one stat usually leads to not taking the other. Otherwise, her breakfast was normal.
Lunch was her normal V-8 juice and peanuts.
Dinner happened at around 2200: Very simple tuna fish (with minced Vidalia onion, 'dried' dill pickle relish, some spices and a little mayonnaise for glue) sandwiches on delicious organic bread I've found at Costco that's low in both sodium and refined carbs; and half a free sample sized bag of Maui Sweet Onion potato chips.
She retired at 2315. Her light remains on as I time and date this. I'll report back on her light's out time. Lights out at 2340.
6/28/06: Non-stat, Strange Day, Strange Meals
Breakfast was normal. No substitutions.
No lunch, at least not that I noticed. She awoke around 1300. Dinner was served around 2030: Heavily peppered cottage cheese, salsa and tortilla chips. That was all we wanted. Probably the weather. The humidity combined with the heat kill the appetite.
She was up until 0130 6/29/06. Light went out at 0200.
6/29/06: BM Non-stat
Well, she was coming out of the bathroom, heading for the living room, when I was typing, previously, over at The Mom & Me Journals that I'd be awakening her at 1400 if she wasn't already up.
She was up. Normal breakfast; substituted polish sausage for bacon.
Late nap, no lunch. Dinner of tuna sandwich on organic, high fiber bread; V-8 juice; and Maui Sweet Onion chips. Her BG will probably be pretty high, tomorrow morning. Potato chips always seem to do that, unlike corn chips. I read someplace fairly recently, I think it was Medscape, that the carbohydrates in potatoes are much harder for human insulin to deal with than many other carbohydrates.
Bowel Movement at 1530: Poor volume; excellent consistency; very easy elimination; very easy clean-up.
She retired at 2345. Lights out at 0000, June 29, 2006, straight up.
