I was certainly a bit more pleased with her BG this morning than I have been the last few mornings. However, I did some control tests anyway and out of three, one was bad.
Breakfast: Mostly normal; two pieces of bacon; one egg, over hard with pepper; no orange juice, though, only detox tea. All meds and supplements as usual.
Then, as you can see, her blood sugar just went wild between breakfast and after her nap. Who knows why. Luckily, she wasn't hungry, only wanted coffee. Wanted to wait until dinner to eat.
At dinner her BG was a bit better, thank the gods; and thank them for one more thing, she wasn't all that hungry. She had a cup of heavily peppered cottage cheese, about 20 pickled (no sugar) asparagus spears and 11.5 oz V-8 juice with 1/2 tsp sweet curry powder.
As of this writing, she's still up, involved in the movie Tootsie, one of her favorites. I'll report back when she retires and her light goes out.
Retired at 0030, 8/27/06. Lights out at 0048.
