Despite the fact that it was yet another unusually short day for Mom. Good mood, though, excellent mood, in fact.
Yes, ham for breakfast with her egg and, being Easter weekend, it's also officially Scone weekend so, this morning, again, she had a scone instead of toast. This morning it was a lemon/current/spelt scone. That's "s-p-e-l-t". Click the link and you'll find out what it is.
Again, a light lunch: V-8 juice and peanuts. The second iron pill has become habit, now.
Exactly the same dinner tonight as last night, even though I'd planned chicken. About two hours before dinner Mom said, "How shoud we serve the ham tonight?!?"
We had dessert, though, tonight. Although I got a frozen cherry pie for dinner tomorrow, I couldn't resist trying Costco's version of Tiramisu, so I got some. It didn't take much to solicit Mom's opinion, after dinner, about the suitability of the Tiramisu over the possibility of cherry pie. After dessert tonight she decided, "Both." Needless to say, she received a second glipizide during dessert, tonight.
To bed early, for her: 2310. Light went off at 2340.
