    Today was Blood Draw Day, so I had her up early. Because her BG was so high I administered her glipizide with her other upon-awakening pills in the hopes that it would begin to work on her blood sugar while we were bathing her and having her blood drawn. She barely leaked last night so she had a short bath this morning.
    She took a medium nap, an hour and a half. Wasn't interested in lunch but I convinced her to have some cottage cheese and mini-dills (oops, I forgot to pick some of those up at Costco today, the day I'm entering this, 3/25/06). It was a long day for her and I figured, since we didn't eat breakfast until 1230 and weren't going to be eating dinner until 2030, a lunch might be appropriate, despite her wishes. As soon as she saw the food she was hungry. I need to remember this when she says, "No lunch."
    Dinner was freshly home made corned beef hash with added onions and garlic. She retired at 2340 but both of us were back up for a little over an hour beginning at 0215 (3/25/06): The cats awoke us and, after that, we stayed up and talked for awhile until they, and we, settled down. So, I'm going to let her sleep until 1230 today (3/25/06) unless she awakens on her own earlier.
