Blood glucose is a little higher than I'd like, but she took two naps today, the first between breakfast and lunch. I quizzed her about whether she was "really tired" or "bored" and she responded, wearily, "tired".
Her first Bowel Movement was hefty, making up for all the days she hasn't eliminated. Both elimination and clean-up were surprisingly easy. It occurred just after she arose from her "morning" nap, just before downing a glass of V-8 juice. Previous to laying down this morning she thought she was going to shit so sat on the toilet with a cup of hot tea (decaf Earl Grey) and a gossip magazine but, well, nothing done.
Her second happened as we were preparing her for bed. When she took off her double layer of paper underwear it was obvious she'd been eliminating a bit when she was farting. Once on the toilet, she let loose. I guess that was the final cleansing. Both elimination and clean-up were, again, surprisingly easy.
I've been noticing, today, that she's been waiting until the last minute to quench her thirst, so I've been on her ass about this, but only a bit because her feet have been swelling a tiny bit. After all her elimination, today, her feet were fine. I've often guessed that her body stores up water when she needs it for elimination.
As a review, no additions or subtractions to meds. No unusual dietary changes. There are a few interesting food things that have happened over the last few days, but I'll cover those in the food journal.
