BM Three Quarter Stat Day:

A.M. Blood Glucose:
    Time:  1457
    Reading:  122
A.M. Blood Pressure:
    Time:  1517
    BP:  151/72
    Pulse:  52

P.M. Blood Glucose:
    Time:  2125
    Reading:  167
P.M. Blood Pressure:
    Not taken

The furosemide, as usual, continued working throughout the day, so today was a bit lazier than has been usual, even though we are in a valley of non-activity, right now.
    Breakfast: Normal holiday breakfast.
    Lunch: None.
Dinner: Marie Callendar's Beef Pot Pie and German Chocolate ice cream (at her request...I made a special trip to go out and get it...she needs all the fluid I can get under her belt, however I can get it there).
Bowel Movement occurred at 1615: Very good volume; slightly smeary consistency; very easy elimination; somewhat challenging clean-up.
The good news is that I was right about her needing the furosemide. Her energy picked up in the evening, even though she was continuing to trot to the bathroom. She remained up until 0150, 11/19/06. Her light went out at 0215.

P.M. Blood Pressure:

    Breakfast: Normal holiday breakfast.
    Lunch: Peanuts and coffee.
Dinner: Finished the tuna casserole. Also gave her 10 mg of furosemide with her dinner. Although her legs and feet look fine, she was breathing harder than usual, today, so much so that I've had her on portable oxygen this evening, without any sign of internal tissue congestion. Call it a hunch, but I think she needs a little drying out.
Retired at 0030, 11/18/06. She was up and down and up and down between 0030 and 0230, going to the bathroom to pee. A couple of times she came out to the livingroom for company and chatting. She also read in bed a couple of times. Light finally out at 0245. Needless to say, I'm going to let her sleep in until 1445 "tomorrow", if she doesn't get up on her own.

    Retired: 0130, 11/15/06. Light out at 0200.

11/15/06: BM No Stats
Can't remember exactly why I decided not to take stats.
    Breakfast: Normal holiday breakfast.
Lunch: V-8 juice with 1 tsp curry powder and peanuts.
Dinner: An appetizer plate with rosemary ham; two types of cheese (jalapeno Jack and smoky sharp Cheddar); a little mustard; two types of crackers (multigrain and olive oil/peppercorn Triscuits); some green, pimiento stuffed olives; some of MCS's bread and butter pickles.
Her Bowel Movement occurred at 1910: Very good volume; fair consistency; very easy elimination; slightly challenging clean-up.

11/16/06: Quarter Stats
Blood Glucose:
    Time:  1340

I suspect that Mom's high BG is due to the large amount of MCS's delicious Bread & Butter pickles she consumed last night. Aside from those on her plate, she asked for more, so I just put the jar in front of her. There was half a jar left and she polished those off, as well as pouring the juice over everything on her plate.
    Breakfast: Normal holiday breakfast.
    Lunch: None.
Dinner: A beautifully turned out pork loin roast, with a hearty dinner salad and two pieces of grilled rosemary bread slathered with that delectable bruschetta.
Retired at 0145, 11/17/06; light out at 0230.
