Spent most of the day hydrating her, although I don't know why she was losing fluid so fast. She was "feeling bad all over" from the time she awoke. I fed her orange juice before we even bathed her.     Only two meals, thus only two iron capsules, only two doses of eye stuff. No Adult aspirin but one ibuprofen before napping.
Dinner was pizza from our favorite local pizza parlor.

Was concerned about sudden water retention this morning and administered an unusual 20 mg furosemide. This turned out to be a mistake. It affected Mom; she felt very bad, and acted, generally, as though she was dehydrating way too fast: Loss of footing, loss of what mental acuity she has, generally saying she felt "bad all over". So, within a couple of hours I was plying her with fluid and lots of potassium. Thus, we had Cobb Salad for dinner. Also gave her an adult aspirin at dinner because she is nursing a cold, as well, which has settled in her sinuses and eyes. Applied Opcon-A four times throughout the day.
She retired at 0030. Her light went out immediately.
