Her Bowel Movement occurred at 1600 [that time is becoming common for bowel movements, isn't it?!?]: Excellent volume; fairly loose consistency; very easy elimination; fairly challenging clean-up.
As I write this, she is still up, watching an episode of Columbo. I'll report on her bed time later. She retired at 0045, 6/11/06. Her light went out at 0055.

Retired at 1400. Light went out immediately upon retiring.

Oh, let's see: Breakfast involved the substitution of sausage for her usual bacon.
    Short lunch: Peanuts and coffee.
Dinner: Was supposed to be Cobb salad again, but Mom is still in love with those Marie Callendar's pot pies and the cool humid evening and I couldn't see the harm. We'll have Cobb salad again tomorrow. It'll be warm enough for it.
Bowel Movement occurred at 1600 again: Excellent volume; good consistency; very easy elimination; not as easy clean-up.
She retired at 2330. Light went out almost immediately afterward.

I noticed, on the morning of 06/08/06, that I forgot to administer her late evening pills, so she didn't receive her second glipizide, nor her second lisinopril, nor her third dose of iron and vitamin C.     Her Bowel Movement occurred at 1600: Poor volume; excellent consistency; very easy elimination; very easy clean-up.     She retired at 0045, 6/08/06. Her light went out at 0100 straight up.

Full Stat Day:

A.M. Blood Glucose:
    Time:  1119
    Reading:  150
A.M. Blood Pressure:
    Time:  1128
    BP:  158/76
    Pulse:  68

P.M. Blood Glucose:
    Time:  1959
    Reading:  94
P.M. Blood Pressure:
    Time:  1954
    BP:  144/71
    Pulse:  57

I'm not sure why her BP is inching up, again. She's not retaining fluid. She's not exhibiting any symptoms of electrolyte overload (or deficit, for that matter). We're both calm, very laid back, in fact. It's true, both times I took her BP today she moved significantly, which could account for some of the jump, but certainly not all of it this morning. Oh well.
Did you notice that her A.M. stats were truly A.M. stats? Surprised the shit out of me! She looked good, felt good, was alert and cooperative during bathing this morning. Breakfast was normal.
She made up for lost time during her nap. Although it began late, it lasted late, too...a little over three hours. She felt good, though, afterward. She slept through lunch, so we scrapped that in favor of a tall cup of coffee and dinner at 2030 of home made cheeseburgers on onion buns with a thick slice of Bermuda onion. She received all her meds, surprisingly, including an ibuprofen a bit after dinner. The weather's gone caddy wampus on us and she's feeling it in her bones.
She retired at 2330. Her light went off at 2350. First time in a long time I haven't had to change the date of these post in order to make sure it shows up on the day it is supposed to represent.

BM Full Stat Day

A.M. Blood Glucose:
    Time:  1309
    Reading:  131
A.M. Blood Pressure:
    Time:  1306
    BP:  118/61
    Pulse:  59

P.M. Blood Glucose:
    Time:  2125
    Reading:  124
P.M. Blood Pressure:
    Time:  2101
    BP:  132/65
    Pulse:  55

We're back to normal, it seems, at least for today, as far as her sleep quotient is concerned.
Breakfast involved a substitution of polish sausage for the bacon. Lunch was her normal V-8 juice and peanuts. I forgot to administer her second iron capsule, though, although I gave her a 200 mg ibuprofen for her knee, which, again, gave her "fits" for awhile. She's been wearing the knee bandage every day because it remains loose and prone to slip. I'm not sure why. Once it "slipped" going down the steps into the living room; another time it apparently "slipped" in bed. Yet another time it "slipped" because of the way she was sitting at the kitchen table with her feet cocked behind the front legs of the chair. It's always something, I guess.
I suggested another Cobb salad, tonight, but she remembered that we had pot pies and was more in the mood for that, so that's what I served: Marie Callendar's Turkey Pot Pie.
Her Bowel Movement occurred at 2110: Good volume; excellent consistency; very easy elimination; very easy clean-up.
She retired at 0020, 06/06/06. Her light went off at 0045.

A.M. Blood Glucose:
    Time:  1459
    Reading:  130
Blood Pressure:
    Not taken

P.M. Blood Glucose:
    Time:  2042
    Reading:  132
P.M. Blood Pressure:

Today was yet another one of those insistent sleep days for Mom, so she only got in two meals and two iron pills. I also didn't bother her with trying to take her BP, since, when she was awake, nothing odd seemed to be happening.
Breakfast was normal. For dinner we had a luscious Cobb Salad, this time with a home made Greek/Italian dressing and some cold cooked salmon marinated in lemon juice and herbs. It had all kinds of stuff in it, including avocados, freshly grated Parmesan, a heavily herb spiked bed of greens, radishes, carrots, green olives, sun dried tomatoes, green peppers, celery, Bermuda onions...amazing salad.
Her Bowel Movement occurred during her "morning" bath: Poor volume; excellent consistency; somewhat difficult elimination; very easy clean-up.
She retired at 0030, 6/05/06. Her light went of at 0100 straight up.
