Three Quarter and One Stat Day:

Blood Glucose:
    Time:  1421
    Reading:  119
A.M. Blood Pressure:
    Time:  1441

Bedtime Blood Glucose:
    Time:  0048, 10/15/06
    Reading:  150

Well, needless to say, although I roused her at 1400, for some reason it was hard to get her moving, but we made it.
Breakfast: Not quite normal: Included a very rich cranberry scone, one of a batch I decided to make instead of pumbpkin cranberry muffins.
    Lunch: Normal.
Dinner: Cobb salad with the usual suspects, roasted chicken as the meat.
It should be obvious why I decided to take her blood glucose again about an hour before she retired: The extraordinary reading taken at dinner, due, I'm sure, to the cranberry scone. Since it seemed to be going down quite nicely just under the influence of her dinner glipizide and the Cobb salad (which was hearty but full of vegetables and chicken), I figured she was fine without a third dose.
She retired at 0100, 10/15/06. Her light went out at 0130.

Retired at 0145, 10/13/06; late for her, but she was spritely right up to retirement, probably because her day started verrry slow; it took a half hour after I started rousing her to get her into a position to take her blood glucose. Light out at 0200.

Initially retired at 0030, 10/11/06. Was up several times to go to the bathroom. I suspect she didn't sleep between visits, except between the ones at 0215 and 0300. She kept me busy. I'm sure she considers that she was busy, as well. I'm letting her sleep in "tomorrow".

Overview: 10/2/06 - 10/9/06

Over this period I've been very relaxed about everything in our life, including Mom's stats and remembering what she ate for dinner. All breakfasts and lunches have been normal, that much I do remember. I also thought to record her bowel movements on post its. Curious.
Movement has been below normal. I've been letting her move as she wishes and she hasn't been interested in moving much. Nothing formal. No walkering sessions anywhere. She went to the grocery once with me during this period, although I can't remember which day. She walkered a little, then noticed a bench as a part of a display and sat on it for the rest of the trip.
I haven't been recording her retirement times. Mostly, she's been going to bed between midnight and 0100 of the day following the date of the stats. There was one night, I recall, when she was up until 0200, but can't remember when that morning was.
Mostly, I've been dropping the BP stats and the evening BG's. It's all been very laid back. Not sure what how long I'll continue this. We'll see.
For three days I haven't rubbed down her legs at night, but I recommenced this on the night of 10/9/06.
