Non-stat Day:

Today, finally, was the full Sleep Day. Mom arose at 1330 but didn't actually make it to the bathroom until almost 1430. I made her stay up until 1700 but it was a struggle. When she lay down for her nap she didn't arise until almost 1900.
Breakfast: Polish sausage substituted for bacon. Adult buffered aspirin substituted for her usual 81 mg dose.
No lunch. Also forgot to administered her second iron supplement.
Dinner: Marie Callender's Beef Pot Pie.
She retired at 2315. At the time of publication of this post her light was still on. I'll report back regarding final lights out.
At 2335 she was back up; she discovered that she wasn't ready to sleep. We watched TV peripherally and talked until about 0030, when she announced she thought she could finally get to sleep. Her light went out at 0100, 7/26/06.

Pretty successful day, today. It was a little difficult to get her up but it doesn't show in the timing of her stats, like it did yesterday. All I had to do was remind her that today was the second and last day of the "Brady Bunch" festival and she was ready to roar. She even mentioned that she was sorry she missed all the episodes that played while she was alseep.
Normal breakfast. Again, today, I substituted an adult buffered aspirin for her normal 81 mg dose...again, without her complaining of any stiffness or pain in particular. She just looked like she needed it. In the evening she complained that her knee was "a little iffy", and walked as though it was, too, but I couldn't get her to take an adult buffered aspirin with her meal (she recognizes them, so they're hard to slip by her).
She didn't want lunch. I couldn't even tempt her with a can of mandarin oranges in light syrup, which usually works. I let it go. I figured, she knows what she wants. She took a normal nap, today, about an hour and a half.
Because her BG was nicely normal and she wasn't interested in going through the trouble of "dressing up" for Denny's, even though I assured her that what she was wearing was fine (I think she may have secretly not wanted to miss any Brady Bunch episodes), I suggested Carl's Jr. $6.00 jalapeno burgers and Doritos Nacho cheese chips instead of her beloved french fries. She was game.
She stayed up until 0030, 7/24/06. Her light went out at 0100.
