    Lunch: Just coffee.
Bowel Movement occurred at 1720: Fairly good volume; good consistency; very easy elimination; slightly messy clean-up.

Breakfast: Normal holiday breakfast. She was obviously suffering from a cold, though, when I was finally able to get her up, so I substituted an adult buffered aspirin for her normal 81 mg and gave her 200 mg guaifenex for her stuffiness, runny nose, coughing and chest congestion.
    Lunch: Peanuts and coffee.
Dinner: Left overs including Kielbasa and sauerkraut and More Than Mac & Cheese.
Got in some walkering this evening, although only in the house. It's still cold, cold, cold outside.
Retired at 0000, 12/2/06. Lights out at 0015.

BM Non Stat Day:

She arose late: I started on her at 1400. She finally made it to the bathroom just before 1500. She wasn't feeling bad, it was just a slow day for her. Thus, we only got two meals in.
    Breakfast: Normal holiday breakfast.
Dinner: BLO(nion)T sandwiches on sourdough bread with Cape Cod potato chips (very, very low in fat and salt; they actually taste like potatoes) and MCS's bread and butter pickles.
Her Bowel Movement occurred at 1920: Excellent volume; good consistency; fairly easy elimination; slightly challenging clean-up.
Retired at 0015, 11/30/06. Light out at 0040.

Whoa! Look at that morning blood sugar! Wow! I'm sure that was the ice cream, and my ease with her diet the last few days. That should help elevate her HA1c. I gave her an extra glipizide with breakfast, for a total of 20 mg. That took it right down, over the day.
    Breakfast: Normal holiday breakfast.
    Lunch: Peanuts and coffee.
Dinner: Cobb salad with the usual vegetables and additions, including cherub tomatoes, this time, and a mixture of pork roast and rosemary ham as the meat. Italian/Greek dressing topped it.
Retired at 0045. Light out at 0130.

She awoke feeling "not very good" this morning...very slow, a little congested (coughing but not dry hacking, so I knew it was internal lung congestion, not external CHF congestion. Her temperature was 99.3°, so that was fine, but she didn't look great and didnt' feel good. Full bath, though; she's a trooper.
Breakfast: I substituted an adult buffered aspirin for her normal 81 mg and gave her 200 mg guaifenex. She got her usual glass of orange juice with her pills but said she wasn't hungry and was planning on going back to bed after she drank her OJ and read the paper. Breakfast was already cooking, though, and I was hungry, so I finished it, except for the egg. By the time the bacon was done she was a little hungrier. She finally ate two pieces of bacon and a piece of Panettone, made it through her OJ and even asked for her usual (detox) tea, although she didn't finish all of it.
She went back to bed around 1600 and stayed down until 1800. She slept hard; awoke thinking it was the day after Thanksgiving and I had just gotten my hair cut. She felt much better, too. She was hungry or lunch, which hasn't happened for awhile.
Lunch: Heavily peppered cottage cheese and peanuts with coffee.
She's been up all evening, doing fine.
Dinner: Buffalo wings and cottage cheese. She also asked for ice cream afterwards and got it.
Retired at 0045, 11/28/06. Light out at 0100.
